It is the second time our students take part in the project in which they prepare Christmas cards in English and Polish and then we send them to various european countries. This year we sent and received cards from England, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium and Lithuania.

Some of the oldest students of our school prepared a short film presenting our beautiful town. Other schools from Europe did the same thing and we could exchange the final work.

Our friends for the Czech Republic

Students form the European club are realising the project with the partner Czech  school. The project is based on the reguklar exchange  of information connected with our countries, towns, schools. Besides, each students has one Czech partner with whom they can correspond in English by the Internet. The results of our common work will be shown on our blog:

The students from IV b took part in the e-Twinning project, in which they prepared an album about Polish traditions, cuisine, monuments etc. and sent it to our partners from Barcelona. The album sent to us by our Spanish friends appeared to be a great attraction for our pupils. :)

Then, we prepared the exhibition of cards we received form our partners.

The EU performance

On 4 th Deceber 2013 students from callses: Va, Vb, Vc and VI c organised the performance connected with European Union.  You could find out a lot of interesting facts referring to the EU countries, listen to the folk music and even watch some folk dances.

Exactly 168 years ago appeared Charles Dickens' most famous novel -"A Christmas Carol." On Christmas Eve four ghosts visit Ebenezer Scrooge, an embittered miser, obsessed with hating Christmas...  Our students reminded it a few days before Christmas. Group of girls also sang Christmas songs in English. With these performances you could feel the atmosphere of Christmas .... in English:)

Best Wishes to our Friends

Special cards, prepared by this year’s „Best Christmas Card for Kwidzyn” winner –Julia Fidler – were sent to our eTwinning partners.

We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
